The following grades are the ones usually run at Annual Queen's Birthday Meet:

NON-CONTACT GRADES

Limited Saloon — purpose built, up to 5800cc, ltd engine mods & tyre widths

Super Saloon — purpose built, engines to 7000cc, mods allowed

B Grade Saloon — modified car, engine up to 5000cc

Super Production Saloon — standard car up to 4735cc, single turbo, std tyres

Standard Production Saloon — standard car up to 4735cc, no turbo, std tyres

C Grade (C-Under) Saloon— standard car up to 2000cc, or 1600cc inj, std tyres

Solo Motorcycle — up to 500cc, no brakes

Sidecars — up to 1000cc, no brakes, passenger is called a ‘swinger’

Quarter Midget — 200cc Honda single cylinder

Three Quarter (TQ) Midget — 900cc standard or 771cc multivalve engine

Modified — up to 6700cc, with wings due to power to weight ratio

Sprint Car — up to 6700cc, with tail cone & wing

Mini Stock — engines restricted to 1200cc

CONTACT GRADES

Standard Stockcar — restricted engines up to 4000cc

Super Stockcar — engines up to 4000cc, engine/chassis mods allowed

Street Stock — restricted to 4000cc, strong cage, tap & turn allowed

Jalopy — 4 cyl car, std tyres, tap & turn allowed

Demo Teams — 4 car team racing for 1st place, std road car with cage
